V. Sattui Winery stands today as the result of hard work, dedication, and the extraordinary vision of two men who happen to be related. Vittorio Sattui started the business in 1885 after emigrating from Genoa, Italy. The law-abiding Vittorio was forced to shut down when Prohibition went into effect, and the winery would lay dormant until 1976, when Vittorio’s great-grandson, Dario, would realize his dream of resurrecting the family business in the town of St. Helena in Napa Valley. Since then, V. Sattui has grown into the quintessential Napa Vally experience producing a variety of red, white, Rosé, sparkling, and dessert wines.
With our winery and deli closed, we had to lay off 50% off our employees. We donated all of the food (over $10,000 worth) from our deli to our employees and are trying to find ways to stay connected with our supporters. We just released our 2018 Collina d’Oro Pinot Noir and are offering 6 special spring wines for 25% plus $1 shipping on 6+ bottles. We appreciate your support immensely.
